A Fresh Start (and a cause close to my heart)

Month two of 2026 is in the works! Even though we are still in the thick of a Wisconsin winter, it feels like we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The days are stretching out, energy is returning, and that extra bit of sun might be exactly the motivation you need to get back onto your mat.

If you’re like me, restarting a habit can be the hardest part. Maybe you resolved to practice more in 2026, but the "dark days" of winter made it tough to show up.

I recently heard someone argue that we should start our "New Year" goals in the spring, rather than in the depths of winter when nature is calling us to rest and reflect. That makes so much sense to me! But, as they say, there is no time like the present to take the helm and steer your ship. Besides, I don’t think anyone has ever said, "I really regret going to yoga today!" Let’s let go of what we did (or didn't) do in January and start fresh today.

This Month’s Seva (service): Counting Stars Green Bay

This month, 10% of all profits will go toward Counting Stars, an organization that is incredibly dear to my heart. Counting Stars serves children with disabilities in Green Bay and the surrounding areas, helping them gain the skills they need to thrive.

Their work doesn't stop with the kids; they provide families with vital tools and, perhaps most importantly, a community where they know they aren't alone. They are doing such incredible work that they’ve actually outgrown their old space and are moving into a beautiful new facility in De Pere!

I am forever grateful for the ability to do this work and to connect with such a vibrant community. Thank you for being a bright light in my world!

With gratitude,
Ashley

Hello! My name is Ashley.

Based near Downtown Green Bay, I share my home with my husband, our two sons, and two cats. My personal journey with yoga began in 2011, eventually leading me to earn my 200-hour RYT certification in 2015. Driven by a passion for holistic movement, I expanded my expertise in 2017 to include Barre instruction. This addition opened a new avenue of mind-body balance that has become a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy.

It is a true honor to share my love of movement and the exploration of the mind-body connection with the Green Bay yoga community. As a lifelong student, I have experienced firsthand how yoga builds internal strength and equilibrium, and I strive to bring that same sense of stability to every class I lead.

Students can expect a practice rooted in dynamic energy and flow. My classes are designed to be physically challenging, ensuring you walk away feeling empowered and strong. However, my ultimate goal is for you to leave the mat feeling less scattered and more present—fully equipped to live your life with clarity and intention.
